Hi, I'm Erin Terkelsen
Deep Roots. Sharp Strategy. Zero Fluff.
My family’s Cape Cod story began in 1926 when my great-grandparents first came to Barnstable. A century later, we’re still here. Anchored on the Upper Cape where I live with my family—both human and corgi, my real estate work extends across the entire county. To me, the Cape isn’t just a market; it’s home. I don’t just help clients buy or sell houses. I help them build their future. Whether it’s a dream home, a smart investment, or a downsizing plan years in the making, I approach every transaction with relentless determination—part detective, part treasure hunter, always persistent.
Before real estate, I spent 25 years in the high-pressure world of professional kitchens, working for years as a restaurant chef and culminating as an Executive Chef at a Boston law firm. Like a busy restaurant on a Saturday night, real estate can be a high-stakes, deeply emotional experience driven by tight deadlines and massive expectations. Years of managing kitchens taught me to anticipate the unexpected. My battle-tested skills keep everyone moving toward the same goal with ease, focus, and total equanimity.
I’m direct, efficient, and entirely unafraid to tell it like it is—whether we’re talking about the brutal honesty of a pricing strategy or spotting hidden potential others overlook. I also bring a deep structural understanding to every transaction from my time serving on the Sandwich Conservation Commission and Mashpee’s Conservation and Sewer Commissions. I understand local regulations, permitting, land use, and the nuances of town government, allowing me to navigate the red tape seamlessly on your behalf.
While some may chase volume, I prioritize quality over quantity. Fewer clients, more attention, better results. My approach is deeply human-centric, but I back it up with a highly advanced, tech-driven toolkit. For sellers, my custom, AI-driven platform puts your listing in front of intentional buyers with surgical precision. For buyers, I leverage that same data and my intimate knowledge of the Cape—from water quality to local conservation futures—to help you find “the one.”
When you work with me, you get an agent whose straightforward approach, deep local history, and advanced toolkit deliver consistent, top-tier results. Call today. Let’s get to work.

I was so lucky to have come across Erin through her website. After I interviewed several other people, I had an instinct that she was top notch-
Up on the latest trends, knowing the right contractors, and able to take care of things that I couldn’t handle from a distance.
In addition to her total professionalism and “get it done” attitude, she is truly one of the nicest and easiest people I have worked with.
She priced the house realitistically but left all final decisions up to the family.
She also included my adult children in the process-
The house sold the same day it was listed and I credit Erin for that!!
It was a seamless experience for me.
Thanks Erin !
I will be asking her to be my agent for another property.
